How to Hide Your Phone Number using WhatsApp

WhatsApp displays your phone number to everyone even if you didn't want them to know. You don't always want everyone to know your new phone number specially if you use the same phone for work and personal calls or say if you don't want work or some people disturbing you when you don't want to be disturbed.




It is not necessary for you to change your number and broadcast to everyone about your new phone number coz once you changed your phone number in WhatsApp, that is exactly WhatsApp does.

Here is the trick how not to reveal your new number and keep it hidden from those who shouldn't know about your new number.

Step 1. Get a dumbphone - get a phone that is not a smart phone




Step 2. Take the SIM card out of your smartphone and put it in the dumbphone




Step 3. Put a new SIM card into the smartphone.





Turn it on and everything will be same, except you will have a new number and/or a new network.
Now, you can turn off your dumbphone when you dont calls from unwanted guests but at the same time use your smartphone for everything and including whatsapp. You can even chat and call using whatsapp because unless you have changed the number whatsapp wont know about it and wont broadcast the new number to everyone.

Off course, the other way to avoid unwanted callers is to get two smartphones.
