Police 101

The 101 Police non-emergency service in London is not effective. When you phone them nothing really happens, they don't take any action.

I phoned several times a few years ago to report anti-social behaviour right outside my doorstep but nothing was done about it.

I only had some response when I directly approached some community police officer's on the street and once when I found one of them wondering around on my building looking for something else.

Never did any real police officers ever came out to deter the gangs of young lads. When you call 999 they don't send any police officers they tell you to call the 101 non emergency service but when you call them nothing gets done about it. The police service in London is a joke.
