My boss is the biggest freak in the world. He wouldn't let me do my work every five minutes he asks me have I finished or is it done, a bit like flicking on and off a light switch. He doesn't understand or is bothered to understand the nature of my work. Editing videos on a basic computer with an email client and a browser running slows down the computer enough not to mention uploading just 72mb on to youtube seems to take forever.
At the end of my day at work he asks me so, what have I done and I tell him even though he is sitting right behind me reading his papers and also watching me (its a tiny office, so hes just one feet away behind me). He gets really suprised and worked-up. I had to cut, edit, re-join and compile several large video files, although some of the work took only about eight minutes - you have to cut-listen-cut-listen and edit video clips in the right places sometimes leaving more space before the start of the clip. The compilation which is done using Windows Movie Maker takes ages, for some clips it took half an hour or more which is usual because of the encoding and its normal for a basic computer to take time and be slow. However, I had finished editing and compiling all the clips before the day finishes. The old man was really suprised and worked-up because he thought all this time all the videos are up on youtube and that I was working on youtube all this time. Its like the flick of a switch he wanted them to be on his website.
All this time at work he was sitting one foot behind me, watching and me telling asking what I am doing. Because of his constant interruptions to ask what am I doing, have I finished, and even though he knows the clips are on a USB stick and I have to transfer a few at a time in order not eat-up all his hard drive space and memory on his computer, and the fact that I am editing them on his computer because none of the other computers have sound. It is almost next to impossible to work with this man for even a day at work. He is so pressurising and selfish, he doesn't want to know or understand anything else apart from himself - he is just so full of hiself, he is so self-centred. He should be grateful that the main part of his work had been completed in an hour - editing several video clips from 70mb to 280 or megabytes.
At the same a finished clip had been sent to youtube to be uploaded. He knows uploads are slow and it was taking a lot of time. Again he got worked up and stresseed about he lost a day and nothing had been done. This guy is a total fool, a loser! I would like to see if anyone can show him that he can do my work in a flick of switch. To him, I think one hour is like 10 minutes. I cant beleive I work such a crazy fool. My day at work with this fool is hard get along even for an hour.
